Home / Tools / Safari Zone Tool
Select the Pokemon you are catching, choose your language (if not Japanese, use International), set your current balls remaining and bait state, then click Load. The tool shows your capture odds and an action image sequence; click each bait/ball/rock image as you use it in-game, and the tool will automatically update Bait Thrown and Balls Remaining. If the game says the Pokemon is watching carefully, bait has run out and the sequence resets, so click "IT'S WATCHING CAREFULLY" to recalculate. If the Pokemon flees, click "IT FLED" to return to the Pokemon selection screen. Keyboard shortcuts are enabled (W/C/F/R and Right Arrow/Space during an encounter, Arrow keys and Enter on the home screen).
Select Species:

The Safari Zone in Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green is a special catch area where your normal battle moves are replaced with Safari actions. You get a limited number of steps to move around the area and your run ends when you run out of steps or Safari Balls.
Each encounter uses Safari mechanics instead of standard catching. Throwing a ball attempts a catch. Bait makes the Pokemon less likely to flee but harder to catch. A rock makes the Pokemon easier to catch but more likely to flee.
This tool helps you follow recommended action patterns for your target Pokemon. Set your current balls and bait state, load the pattern, and click each action image as you use it in-game to keep the tracker synchronized.
Keyboard shortcuts: W = watching carefully, C = caught, F = fled, R = retry, and Right Arrow or Space = next step during an encounter. On the home Pokemon selection screen, Arrow keys move the selection and Enter loads the selected Pokemon.
